The facility is a short-term convelescent/ respite care one. I was pleasantly surprised that upon entering it smelled very good. I was greeted at the front desk & signed in. All the staff were friendly, and professional. Anyone under their care will receive a multidisciplinary care approach, from dietary, PT/OT, medication management, and other resources through the case manager. I would recommend anyone being placed, or having a loved one placed here.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the facility was clean with a fresh smell. Thank you for caring for my family member ❤️

Everyone at the facility is nice and most helpful for the most part. It did take quite a while to get some changes in my mom’s medications, but once the case manager came back from Holiday that was resolved. Thank you.

I’m being generous at this point. I thought that it would be nicer because they had smaller amt of beds..i was wrong! I watched one of the nurses her name is Tiny ..I kid you not..that is her name ,,, I watched her screaming at one of the people that was staying there. It was disgusting. I had to leave this place way before I was able to do anything. On my paperwork it said that I said the reason I had to leave was because I didn’t have a potty to get to do my business in. That is not true..while I stayed there I was upset because they wouldn’t give me one to go to the bathroom and they said that I couldn’t use a bathroom…it was a disaster I was physically abused by one of the cna’s. They would bring me my medication at night and leave me alone while they were going in and out of the room.. Maybe I have it wrong but aren’t they supposed to stay in the room until I take a narcotic? I could go on and say that they were available but they didn’t work like that. I’m going to say the physical therapy and occupational therapy social services are all great. If you like other details please contact me directly

Great staff, clean facility, everyone is attentive, friendly and helpful. I feel like my dad, who is a veteran is getting the best care and I appreciate that so much.

Very clean facility with a pleasant atmosphere. Professional staff that answered all my questions in a clear and to the point manner. I was very pleased with the staff’s politeness, positive attitude, and the facility’s cleanliness.

The staff are professional, extremely knowledgeable in the area of skilled nursing and provide a great atmosphere for my family member!

Bel Vista is a wonderful skilled nursing facility for the elderly who need extra, gentle loving care. My mother who is 99.5 years old loves it there. Everyone who works there is so kind and knowledgeable. They go the extra mile to make sure their patients are comfortable and that they receive informative medical care. I give it my highest recommendation.

First, I would like to Complement the Entire Staff at Bel Vista! I was sent there for recovery from a serious back injury/spasm that I was hospitalised for at UCI Lakewood for 10 days. After, I was unable to move and care for myself. I was sent to Bel Vista for rehab. After 3 weeks of care, I was able to recover enough to go home. I was given the Best Care by the RNAs, CNAs and the PT staff. I refered to Bel Vista as “Club Bel Vista” because of the quality of care I received. Even though it is a older facility, I was totaly satisfied with the care I received. I would like to say the meals were more than expected and always served on time. If you need a rehab facility, look into this facility. I’m glad I was sent there. Thank You to ALL the Staff at Bel Vista!

My grandma is a patient at this facility. I have been to other facilities and I do have to say that the staff are very friendly but I do have to give a shout out to the Activity Director, Jennifer, is incredibly sweet and always goes above and beyond to involve patients in activities, making everyone feel included and valued. Jen brings so much caring and positive energy to everything she does, brightening the atmosphere and lifting everyone’s spirits. She is a huge reason why my grandma likes it there. Knowing that someone other than myself is able to provide company to her makes me feel at peace at the end of the day. Your loved ones are always safe with Jen. Thank you for everything!

I have a friend who’s a resident at Bel Vista. Each time I’ve visited, the facility has always seemed clean, as there was no urine or fecal odor I’ve consistently smelled at a number of similar facilities in Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Van Nuys, & Panorama City. Yesterday, I was with my friend and her family in the activities room during a live entertainment session for nearly two hours and noticed how nice the staff were to the residents. There were smiles, big hugs, high fives, and other positive gestures and acts of kindness from the staff. It was clear to me that they really seemed to “have a heart” for caring for their residents, who some kind of treated as if they were family members. If my wife or I ever need to be cared for in our old age, I’m praying that we’re able to find a place like Bel Vista. It’s relatively small, but clean and staff are kind!

Great place, with attentive staff. A bit understaffed it’s seems though it seems. My mother is a current patient/resident here. Overall though, staff is caring, just needs to have a few more individuals to handle patient care.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility. My husband dislocated his prosthetic shoulder. The surgeon has been on vacation and it can’t be done until 10th of July. I had my husband transferred there on June 21. He has gotten Stellar treatment since the moment he came through the door. They’ve bent over backwards to accommodate him and his doctors appointments. They even touched base with the hospital and the surgeons office and scheduled his surgery for me. They’ve taken care of all of his preop needs. They arranged for the EKG, the bloodwork and the chest x-ray . As well as accommodating all his medication’s since he’s been there. The Director of nurses the case manager the administrator the Social Worker have all been in constant touch. By phone if I’m not there or in person. The nurses, the CNA, Physical Therapy, Occupational therapy amazing. Kind and caring. I feel blessed that he’s somewhere safe and somewhere that actually Cares about their patience. Thank you!❤️ He will return back there after the surgery is completed for his rehab.

Excellent care I was a patient no regret… Therapy is really good … staff treated me nice.. definitely recommended.

I am a Geriatrician who goes to several rehabilitation centers and what stands out to me (and my patients who have been here and their families who share the same experience) is Bel Vista’s small size which is a huge benefit. Most buildings are close to 100 beds but Bel Vista is only about 40 which means the attention the patients there get is very high. It reminds me of being a only child in a family so you get a lot of attention. It is also a very clean and modern looking place. Since they are small, having a bed is not always a possibility, but if they happen to have a bed available, I would highly consider this place. If you are considering a rehabilitation center, I wish you or your loved one a speedy recovery! Do rehab as much as you can every day so you can get back to your baseline and go back home!
